I love Dan, but why does his first film after Harry have to be so freaking creepy? I hate horror films but I guess this one has to be an exception.

With Deathly Hallows Part II just around the corner, Jaymes and I are starting up a Harry Potter movie marathon at home. As much as I’d love to watch all seven movies straight through, internship prevents this from happening. And the fact that I only have three movies at a time from Netflix.

I sincerely hope we finish in time for the midnight premiere. I was very much looking forward to seeing all the movies all over again.

… Sorcerer’s Stone is waiting for me. Got to go!

Anyone else doing anything special to commemorate the arrival of the last film?

Tasha and I thought it would a great idea to see the stars walk the red carpet for the New York City premiere of Deathly Hallows Part 1. We got to the Alice Tulley Hall of Lincoln Center around ten in the morning and basically spent the whole day waiting at a spot. Around half past six, the stars finally arrived. Tasha and I most desperately wanted to see Tom Felton, and he was the first one to get there! Our spot was right in front of the tent’s entrance so we thought for sure that he would stop by and sign something or get close enough for a picture. Wrong. He ended up going to the other side of the line. We barely got a glimpse of him.

We only ended up getting good shots of Rupert Grint and Ralph Fiennes (Ron and Voldemort, respectively). We waited nine hours for a couple of shots. The crowd was pretty insane. There were people pushing and shoving everywhere, all trying to get that autograph.

I never really had high expectations for the night because I’ve done similar things before. There is one Harry Potter premiere left hopefully in New York, but I don’t think I’ll be making that one unless I have a ticket for the red carpet event.
